Custom Calculation

To be used as a classical calculator in which you have the possibility to inject the current balance of your different accounts.

Calculation

Select the accounts to include in your formula from the drop-drown. From the input box on the right hand side, the formula can be adjusted based on the selected account.

The current balance of the account will be used, regardless of its classification.

Example

To compute the Accounts Receivable to Accounts Payable Ratio, you need to divide the Accounts Receivable balance by the Accounts Payable balance. To do so

• Select Accounts Receivable and then Accounts Payable from the drop-down
• Accounts will be annotated as "1 - Accounts Receivable" and "2 - Accounts Payable"
  
• Enter this formula: "{1} / {2}"
• The result will be displayed on your widget after saving
  

As such a calculator is not available in the different accounting applications, we recommend you to retrieve separately the balances of the accounts related to your custom calculation, and to apply the corresponding formula manually.
