Attach KPIs to your dashboard

KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) can be attached to your dashboard, so you can then view & set targets on a set of provided calculations (e.g "Overweighted Assets Ratio", "Creditor Due Days Max").

You can select the plus button or the "You can now attach..." text to view and select available KPI's.

Click on a KPI tile to add it to your KPI's bar.

Once you have selected your KPIs your KPIs bar should look something like this the image below. A KPI needs a target to make sense, so targets are required to be set for a KPI to be valid.

The date range picker applies the selected date range to all your KPI's. The default value is for this financial year.

Once you have input your targets for each KPI and clicked the save button on the right hand side, you're KPIs will be calculated and display in two possible states, "ok" or "triggered".  Note that if you just click save without manually setting any targets, Impac! will set some default target values automatically.

The image below is an example of an "ok" KPI. Meaning your target has not been met. Depending on the KPI, your current value may either below or above your target.

The image below is an example of a "triggered" KPI. Meaning your target has been metAs mentioned above, different KPI's have different contexts. Some KPIs will be triggered when the target value you have set is over the current value, and some KPIs will be triggered when the target value is below the current value.

Currently the KPIs contexts are designed in a way that it's considered a negative event for you to have met your KPI - thus the red bar at the bottom of a triggered KPI.

Note in the images above, the value in parenthesis is the current value for that KPI. If it is truncated, hover over for a tooltip.

By clicking on the bell button displayed from the settings panel of any KPI, it will open an Alerting preference panel

Here you can enable/disable in-app notifications, or emails (in-app notifications are enabled by default).

The image below is an example of an in-app push notification coming through, which will refresh all your KPIs and Widgets. The notifications are triggered by new data being synced from apps and then KPI calculations being ran, which determine whether KPI targets have been met, if so, a notification is pushed to your browser, and if the triggered KPI has email alerts enabled (as shown above), an email will be sent.

Once an Alert for a KPI has been sent, the KPI remembers that it has been triggered and an Alert has been delivered... So any further increases beyond your target, will not continue to Alert you. For this to be reset, the value needs to either drop below your target or your need to update your target value; which will manually reset this.
