Top Customers By Sales

Lists customers ordered by top total sales, transactions, average sales, or last sale from within a date range.

This widget also offers a more detailed display view, which shows total transactions amount for the customer (e.g #tr: 4), average per transaction, and last transaction amount.  

Calculation

Only the AUTHORISED, SUBMITTED, or PAID invoices and the AUTHORISED, APPLIED, or PAID credit notes are going to be taken into account. The DRAFT or VOIDED invoices or credit notes are ignored.

The total sales are calculated as followed:

(over a selected period) → total sales = total invoiced - total credited

Settings

• Display type: total sales, transactions, avg sales, last sale
• Show / hide details: switches between a detailed & simple list view.
• Results amount: select how many results to display from 5-100.
• Date range (selected by clicking the cogwheel): pick the date range you want the widget to be based on.

The same information can be find by looking the Xero report named "Customer Invoice Report". There you will be able to see all your invoices by customers.

Noticeable differences with the Impac! widget

The main differences are that the Impac! widget sorts the result by the selectable filters, and if the detailed view is toggled, it will give show some more calculations (e.g average) about the customer transactions.

The Sales By Customers Summary report can be used: Reports > All Reports > Review Sales > Sales By Customer Summary.
