Sales List

 

Overview

List all your product and services (sold or purchased) through a period of time.

The displayed sold items are based on invoices at statuses PAID, AUTHORISED, or SUBMITTED, which have been issued within the selected time period.


Calculation

Only the AUTHORISED, SUBMITTED, or PAID invoices and the AUTHORISED, APPLIED, or PAID credit notes are going to be taken into account. The DRAFT or VOIDED invoices or credit notes are ignored.

The total sales are calculated as followed:

(over a selected period) → total sales = total invoiced - total credited

Settings

The time period can be changed in the settings section (top-right cogwheel).

A dropdown list allows the user to select the displayed amount:

  • Value sold (excluding taxes)
  • Value sold (including taxes)
  • Quantity sold
  • Value purchased (excluding taxes)
  • Value purchased (including taxes)
  • Quantity purchased


 

See it in Xero

The Sales by item report can be used. This report can be accessed in Xero by clicking: Reports > All reports > Sales by item.


 

See it in QuickBooks

 The Sales by Product/Service Summary report can be used: Reports > All Reports > Sales by Product/Service Summary.
