How to see the status of your payout

For events using Eventbrite Payment Processing, payouts are initiated 5 days after your event's end date. Once initiated, direct deposits can take up to an additional 5 bank days to process and show in your account (7 bank days for bank transfers outside the U.S.).

You can see the status of your payout on your Event Dashboard 24 hours after your event ends, and you can even reissue a returned payout.

TIP: If you used PayPal to collect payments, PayPal automatically deducts their payment processing fee before depositing the funds into your PayPal account. For questions about your payout, you can get in touch with PayPal's support team.

PRO TIP: If you're receiving Advance Payouts, payouts are initiated on the 1st and 15th of each month and can take up to 5 bank days to reach U.S. bank accounts (7 bank days for international bank accounts).

NOTE: Payouts are initiated 5 days after your event's end date, but can only start processing on bank days. If the 5th day falls on a weekend or U.S. federal bank holiday, your payout will start processing on the next bank day.

  1.  Go to your Event Dashboard.

After you log in, find your event on the Manage Events page, then select "Manage."

NOTE: If your event repeats, be sure to choose a date in the "Individual Date Selector" at the top of the "Manage" page to view the status of your payout for a specific event in your schedule.

2. Scroll down to "Payment Status. "

You should see the "Payment Status" section in your Event Dashboard 24 hours after your event ends. Just scroll to this section to see the status of your payout.

TIP: If you have a repeating event, payouts are initiated 5 days after each individual event's end date, just like our normal payout schedule.

PRO TIP: You'll be paid in the currency you used to collect payment from your attendees, and your bank must be located in the country/region supporting the currency in order for your funds to be processed.

NOTE: If you don’t see the "Payment Status" section on your Event Dashboard and do see an alert asking you to update your payment information, you'll need to enter payout details to receive your funds.

3. Check your payout status.

The Date Of Payment is 5 days after your event's end date, which is the same day Eventbrite initiates your payout. However, the time it takes for the funds to be posted in your account varies depending on your bank.

You can find out what we know about where your payout stands with the following statuses:

• Processing: Processing means we're batching and delivering the direct deposit request to our bank, or printing and posting the check (U.S. only).

• Initiated: This status usually only appears briefly for direct deposit payments and means the funds are being moved to your bank.

• Sent: Sent shows 5 days after your event's end date and means we've sent your payout to your bank for processing. You should see funds in your account within 5 bank days (7 bank days for bank transfers outside the U.S.).

• Returned: This means we attempted to send your payment, but the direct deposit didn't go through. Select "verify and reenter your banking information" to check that your payout details are correct, then reissue your payment.

NOTE: If you requested a check payout and the check is returned, your payout status won't change, but you should receive an email from Eventbrite with instructions on how to update your payout details and reissue your payment.

4. Reissue a returned payout.

If you have a payment status of "Returned," you can reissue your payment by choosing "Reissue." Your payout will be initiated on the next bank day and can take up to 5 bank days to appear in your account (7 bank days for bank transfers outside the U.S.).
