PaaS-based deployment using Nex!™

Nex!™ is Maestrano's Platform as a Service (PaaS). It leverages Docker to deploy, scale and manage applications on top of a shared server pool. Nex!™ greatly simplifies the setup and management of applications by providing out-of-the-box scalability, routing, backups, database management and access management.

Nex!™ also acts as an infrastructure abstraction layer allowing anyone to deploy the Maestrano platform on AWS, Azure, GCP or on-premise. It provides a uniform management experience across all infrastructure platforms.

Nex!™ also has the ability to manage multiple infrastructure providers at once (e.g. AWS + Azure). This may prove useful for anyone looking for a DR-ready platform. See Nex!™ Infrastructure for more details on the actual architecture of Nex!™ for single-region and multi-region deployments.

1 - Deployment on Nex!™ PaaS

This deployment pattern makes use of Nex!™ - Maestrano's Platform as a Service.

2 - Deployment on Nex!™ PaaS and behind a WAF

This deployment pattern is recommended for companies wishing to deployment the Maestrano platform behind a corporate firewall or requiring additional control at the routing level for compliance purpose. This pattern is essentially the same as the first one but with a WAF controlling the incoming/outgoing traffic.

Note that all Maestrano components are designed to use HTTP(s) traffic only and are therefore suitable for use behind a HTTP(s) proxy (incoming/outgoing).
